Tracy Selvage

Passed away due to cancer on March 10, 2012 (Thanks to Paul Jensen for the update)


Tracy Aline Richardson passed on March 10, 2012 at her home in Boise, Idaho after her courageous battle against cancer. She was born on July 20, 1965 in Eureka, California to parents Jerry and Marilyn Selvage. Tracy graduated from Eureka High School in 1983 and Sacramento State College in 1988. During her college years she met her husband Rex Richardson. They were blessed with three wonderful children, Luke, Shane and Riley. Their 25th wedding anniversary would be celebrated this year. Sacramento was her home for twenty years until her move to Boise in 2005. Motherhood and family were what she valued most and she gave of herself fully in all that she was involved. Friendships were an important part of her life and she was surrounded by many wonderful people she loved dearly. She had a successful business career in Sacramento and more recently worked with Pottery Barn in Boise where she enjoyed new friendships and working with people. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry and brother Kenneth, grandparents Darell and Dorothy Johnson and Edward Selvage. In addition to her husband and children, Tracy is survived by her mother, Marilyn Mathews and husband Gordon Mathews, sister Marcy Frey and husband Matt Frey, grandmother June Kogeler, in-laws Louis and Kleis Richardson, sister-in-law Nancy Rollins and family, brother-in-laws Ray and Neal Richardson and their families. She also leaves numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was an active member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church where the Rosary will be recited at 7 PM Wednesday, March 14 and a Memorial Mass at 11 AM on Thursday, March 15, 2012.
